More About Bye Bye Birdie by Allegany High School
Allegany High School Drama club presents “Bye Bye Birdie” on April 25, 26, & 27 in the AHS Drama Theatre at 7:00 pm. It tells the story of a rock and roll singer who is about to be inducted into the army. Conrad Birdie, an Elvis Presley type, has a pompadour and wears gaudy gold costumes. Albert Peterson, his agent, is a very pleasant mild-mannered young man. Albert's faithful secretary Rose Alvarez keeps him and Birdie moving forward in the world.
