Annual Yard, Book and Bake Sale, August 15

First United Methodist Church in Mechanicsburg will hold the annual Yard, Bake and Book Sale on Saturday, August 15, 2026, from 8 a.m. to noon, rain or shine in the church parking lot and in the multipurpose room.
The indoor church sale, hosted by the United Women in Faith will feature a variety of goods to include crafts, toys, household items and much more. The outdoor Yard Sale promises lots of great bargains and treasures to choose from!
Children in attendance at the sale can choose a free handmade pencil pouch of school supplies, while supplies last. Stop by the Children’s Ministry Table to pick up the free school supplies.
The church library will host a book sale on-site. Most books can be purchased for 25 cents to $1. Puzzles, CD’s, DVD’s also available for purchase. Back by popular demand, the United Women in Faith will be selling their homemade baked goods. Other refreshments will also be available for purchase.
Proceeds from the sale will benefit First Church Youth Missions Trips along with several local missions to include New Hope Ministries, Domestic Violence Services, Central PA Food Bank and Mission Central. For shopper’s convenience and comfort, visit the Book Sale and Church Sale inside the multipurpose room. Please note that the doors to the inside sale will open promptly at 8:00 a.m.
