FREE KIDS AUDITION WORKSHOP "QUEST FOR SUCCESS"

On April 1st from 11am-1pm, Off Pitt Street Theater Company is hosting “QUEST for Success,” a FREE Audition Workshop for students ages 8-16 years. Come join us for a grand adventure in Auditioning! During this 2-hour workshop, young actors will be introduced to and practice auditioning techniques, character development, and confidence-building skills so that they feel prepared for a great audition. While this workshop will use materials for the upcoming "Heist Quest" audition, the skills learned at the workshop can be applied to any audition. Young actors will be playing ice-breaker acting games, exploring character choices, and practicing reading excerpts from "Heist Quest" in preparation for auditions! This workshop will be a fun, zero-stress way to spend a day off from school! Enrollment is limited to 15 spots, and space is on a first-registered, first-reserved basis! About our instructor: Lacey Lichvar received her Bachelor's Degree in performing arts from Clarion University. She has been doing theater for over 25 years and has considerable audition experience! To support her theater habit, Lacey works full time as a parent/child educator for Early Headstart and Headstart at Allegheny Lutheran Social Ministries. She is excited to be teaching this workshop!
