Chicago Gaelic Park, located at 6119 West 147th Street in Oak Forest, remains a Chicagoland staple rooted in culture and community. Established over 35 years ago with the purpose of promoting and fostering Irish culture, the sprawling complex features top-rated banquet halls and meeting rooms, sports playing fields, and a traditional Irish pub named The Carraig Pub for all to enjoy. Gaelic Park is the ideal location for weddings, weekday conferences, sporting matches, dinner, drinks, and everything in between. Gaelic Park has a variety of meeting rooms available that make for extraordinary events both big and small. The Emerald Room, a luxurious 8,500 square foot space, features sparkling crystal chandeliers, two oak bars enhanced with hand carved glass mirrors, an extra-large hardwood dance floor and elevated stage, and an audio visual system. The Tara Room is complete with two oak bars with antique mirrors, two sets of washrooms, a hardwood dance floor and stage, an audio visual system, and leads onto a covered patio surrounded by a pergola, waterfall, shrubs, and seasonal flowers. The Celtic Room can host events for up to 100 guests while still offering guests a large oak bar in a beautiful intimate setting. The Volunteer Garden features a pergola, a waterfall with a meandering stream, and an open space area that can accommodate both small and large gatherings. Catering is provided in-house and includes a large selection of gourmet plated dinners, family style spreads, hors d'oeuvres, beverages, late night snacks, and desserts. The meeting rooms at Gaelic Park can be specially configured and used as break out rooms for smaller events and conferences. The Carraig Pub at Gaelic Park has earned a well-deserved reputation for delicious food and drinks, serving traditional Irish and more contemporary dishes. A great place to entertain friends and family, The Carraig Pub hosts live entertainment every Friday and Saturday as well as weekly trivia nights. Guests are invited to enjoy the patio during the summer months, with a BBQ on the patio event every Wednesday from June through September.
