About Kepple Law Firm

Kepple Law Firm, P.A., formerly the firm of Janes and Kepple, P.A. was established in 1972 in Oakland, Maryland, near Deep Creek Lake. The Firm offers legal services in Western Maryland and the surrounding West Virginia area. The Kepple Law Firm represents a variety of businesses including start up and multi-million dollar companies in many industries, including manufacturing, technology, service, agriculture, retail, mining and forestry/wood products production. Since 1972, we have represented real estate developers and builders, buyers and sellers, in upturns and downturns. We also have the privilege of representing multiple generations of extended families through estate planning, business succession planning and estate administration. The Firm litigates many types of cases for businesses and individuals. Just for example, in stockholder disputes, dormant mineral interest cases, real property disputes, personal injury cases and custody cases, we have the satisfaction of protecting our client’s interests or obtaining awards that improve our client’s quality of life.

Our firm has been an integral part of the community for over 40 years. The Attorney Principals of the Kepple Law Firm, P. A. (and under its prior firm names) have a distingished history of serving that community not only as Attorneys, but also as Judges. The late Frederick A. Thayer served as the Judge of the Garrett County Circuit Court while Susan J. Crawford served as Chief Judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces. Leonard J. Eiswert, recently retired as the Judge of the District Court of Maryland for Garrett County, replaced former Firm Principal, Ralph M. Burnett, who was also Judge of District Court of Maryland for Garrett County until his untimely death.

We are committed to providing quality legal services to each of our clients thereby creating long standing client relationships. Contact us to find out how we can provide legal assistance for you.
