More About Sound Beach Community Band to Perform at Old Greenwich Memorial Day Parade 2026

Every Memorial Day, Old Greenwich does something that has become quietly essential to how this community marks the holiday. People line Sound Beach Avenue, the flags come out, and the Sound Beach Community Band plays. This year is no different.

On Monday, May 25, the band steps off at 10:00 a.m. from the intersection of Shore Acre Drive and Sound Beach Avenue, marching the length of the avenue before concluding at Binney Park. The ceremony follows immediately after the parade ends, and the band performs there as well.
