The Lord Stirling Theater Company’s bold new staging of George Bernard Shaw’s iconic play about identity, class and the power of language brings fresh energy to Shaw’s razor-sharp wit, illuminating the timeless struggle for self-definition in a world eager to label us.
Step into a London alive with possibility, ambition, and razor‑sharp wit. "Pygmalion" follows Eliza Doolittle, a fierce and funny young woman determined to rise above the limits society has placed on her. When she crosses paths with Professor Henry Higgins—a linguistic genius with the manners of a bulldozer—the two strike a deal that will change both of their lives.
As Eliza’s transformation captivates high society, she discovers that changing her voice is far easier than changing how the world sees her. Packed with humor, heart, and a battle of wills for the ages, "Pygmalion" is a triumphant celebration of self‑determination and the courage to claim your own story.
A perfect afternoon out for fans of smart comedy, bold characters, and classic theater with a modern pulse.
