YWCA Tri-County Area serves more than 1,500 women, children, and families as a dynamic educational organization that is empowering and inclusive, providing programs which encourage individuals to learn, grow, become, and take a stand. Target communities include all or part of the seven public school districts surrounding Pottstown: Pottstown, Pottsgrove, Spring-Ford, Perkiomen Valley, Owen J. Roberts, Boyertown, and Daniel Boone.
Program opportunities include education, advocacy, and empowerment initiatives for infants, toddlers and pre-schoolers, school-age children, teenage girls, and adults in these wide-ranging topics: early education, youth development, adult education, racial and social justice, and the empowerment and health and safety of women and girls.
