More About First Baptist Christian Academy

Our Mission
The goal of First Baptist Christian Academy is to provide a Christ-centered education in a disciplined environment. First Baptist Christian Academy exists to glorify God by teaching children to grow spiritually, academically, socially, and physically. We provide academic excellence in a Christ-centered environment.
Caring, Christian Faculty
Because of our small class sizes, students will benefit from the one on one attention they will receive. All of our teachers (K-8) are certified and have been trained in the ABEKA curriculum. The faculty at FBCA is caring, dedicated, and committed to the success of all students.

More Information
We are the Eagles of FBCA! Our school colors are maroon and gold. FBCA is an extension of First Baptist Church of Moss Bluff.

FBCA admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students of the organization. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, and other organization-administered programs.

Telephone Broadcast System
This will enable school personnel to notify all households and parents by phone of an emergency or unplanned event that causes early dismissal, school cancellations or late starts. FBCA will continue to to report school closings due to hurricanes or weather to KPLC and will use this system as an overlay to the public announcements. The Telephone Broadcast System will also be used to remind parents of field trips and other class events.

Curriculum
FBCA follows the Abeka curriculum. For more information visit Abeka's website. | 2013 Scope & Sequence pdf.

You can choose your medium: the website, the mobile app, the weekly newsletter, our popular wall calendar, or any combination of the four.

If you're uncertain about your event, please feel free to contact your local publisher to inquire about his or her policies prior to posting.

Remember too that we are a family friendly organization and reserve the right to reject any events that we deem inappropriate for our calendar or online media tools.
