More About Markus Education Int.

At Markus Education Int. we help students to reach their education goals

Maria Markus, founder of Markus Education Int., grew up and studied in Moscow, Russia. In 1992 with her family, Maria moved to the United States, where she first worked in an international chemical corporation and later at a consulting firm Arthur D. Little.

In 2004 Maria decided to change her line of business and opened two private educational centers (Tutoring Club) in Connecticut. Here Maria gathered a team of highly qualified teachers working with students of all ages.

Over the next ten years, more than a thousand American students were able to improve their academic performance, prepare for exams and successfully enroll in US universities with the help of the Tutoring Club. During this period, Maria became closely acquainted with the American education system and with the process of applying to colleges and universities. She obtained the College Counselor certificate from UCLA (the University of California in Los Angeles) and became a member of the American Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA).

Based on her experience, Maria has developed her own system that helps students to get ready for boarding school, college, or university. With the help of Markus Education Int. hundreds of applicants have become students at prestigious schools, colleges, and universities in the USA. Maria Markus and her team support their students through all stages, starting from choosing a school or college and preparing them for tests, and ending with the application process and enrollment decision. Even after enrollment, students can still count on help from Markus Education Int.
