More About Altamont Fair
The Capital Region's hometown fair features exciting midway rides for all ages, the Royal Hanneford Circus, Robinson's Racing Pigs, live music, Sherman's Lumberjack Show, The Dynamo Dogs, animal barns & events, exhibits, historical museums, demonstrations, contests, favorite fair food and more.
Daily highlights (free with fair admission):
• Tuesday - Miss Altamont Pageant (10am); Mini Supercross Racing (5pm)
• Wednesday - Barrel Racing (6pm); Skeeter Creek (6:30pm)
• Thursday - The Refrigerators (7pm); Corgi Races (7pm)
• Friday - Lucky E Rodeo (5pm); Big Sky Country (7pm)
• Saturday - More Music Less Violence - DJ HollyW8D (6pm); MaddHaus (7pm)
• Sunday - Demolition Derby (2pm); Hair of the Dog (5pm)
Admission (ages 11+): $10.30 ($10 cash) Tuesday; $15.45 ($15 cash) Wednesday - Thursday; $17.71 ($17 cash) Friday - Sunday; $14.40 online pre-sale; free Wednesday with ID for ages 65+, active military/veterans & Grange members
Unlimited ride wristbands (for riders 36" & taller) are $32 ($30 cash) or $27.25 pre-sale. Ride tickets are also available on site.
Fair hours: noon-10pm Tuesday, 10am-10pm Wednesday - Thursday, 10am-11pm Friday - Saturday, 10am-8pm Sunday. Rides open at 2pm Tuesday and noon Wednesday - Sunday.
