More About Tanger Outlets Houston Celebrates Earth Day with Community Tree Planting, April 22
TEXAS CITY, Texas (April 4, 2024) – Earth Day is April 22, and Tanger Outlets Houston plans to celebrate with a community tree planting on April 22 at 10 a.m. Trees play a vital role in producing oxygen, improving air quality, reducing waste and pollution, conserving water and supporting wildlife, among other benefits.
Tanger’s dedication to planting trees in the communities it serves represents just one step in the company’s environmental commitment and sustainability goal of becoming carbon neutral by 2050.
In addition, Tanger Houston proudly partners with urban beekeeping company Alvéole to house 23,000 bees in one rooftop hive as part of its ongoing effort to increase the greater bee population locally and around the globe. These pollinators play an important role in contributing to a healthy, balanced ecosystem, and the community is welcome to follow along at myhive.alveole.buzz as Tanger kicks off its 2024 bee season.
