Norwalk Oyster Festival

The 48th Annual Norwalk Oyster Festival is a three-day waterfront celebration held at Veterans Memorial Park on the Norwalk Harbor. The festival features a New England Village with more than 100 fine artists and crafters selling whimsical and practical items appealing to all tastes and budgets. The International Food Court offers diverse cuisine from Mexican to Italian alongside traditional New England seafood, operated by dozens of local nonprofit organizations. A craft beer tent pours over 40 regional brews. Live music spans multiple stages with rock and country acts. Family attractions include carnival rides, face painting, and games. The festival draws roughly 90,000 visitors over the September weekend following Labor Day, making it a major regional destination for maritime heritage and seafood tradition in Connecticut.
