More About Fairlawn Medina Landscape Supply
The business was founded in 1956 as Fairlawn Peat Humus Supply. A rich vein of Peat, similar to Michigan Peat was discovered & mined on White Pond Dr, in West Akron. At that time Peat was primarily used to mulch beds, as well as for plant propagation used by the many growers in Northeast Ohio that we supplied.
The business was later renamed Fairlawn Landscape Supply in the late 1980’s to reflect the addition of different product lines and applications currently being used; such as shredded wood to produce mulch. The business was relocated to 1669 Copley Rd, Akron, Ohio in 1996. 1/8 Mile West of I-77.
In January 2015, the company came under new ownership and was renamed ‘Fairlawn Medina Landscape Supply’ with two locations in Copley and Medina. The Medina location is located at 4762 Ridge Road Medina, Ohio 44281 1/2 mile north of Rt. 18 on Ridge Road (Rt. 94).
In March of 2019 we consolidated our operation to one location at 4762 Ridge Road Medina, Ohio 44281 1/2 mile north of Rt. 18 on Ridge Road (Rt. 94).
We currently offer; screened (dry!) topsoil, peat, blended soil, bio-soil, fill dirt, various mulches. straw, grass seed, fertilizers, boulders, limestone, gravel, natural stone, drainage products, landscaping tools and much more.
