More About MIT Summer Philharmonic Orchestra: Celebrating Hope & Optimism — Free Concert

Join the MIT Summer Philharmonic Orchestra for a free one-night-only summer concert at MIT’s Kresge Auditorium. Sponsored by MIT Professional Education, MITSPO’s 27th season celebrates ‘Hope & Optimism’ with two powerful symphonic works: Prokofiev’s Symphony No. 5 and Dvořák’s Symphony No. 9, ‘From the New World.’ Led by Music Director and Conductor George Ogata, MITSPO brings together top musicians from the MIT community and Greater Boston. Admission is free and open to all. Seating is first-come, first-served; early arrival is encouraged.
