First Presbyterian Church of Smyrna is a diverse group of individuals gathered in the common purpose to glorify God. In worship, in Bible Study, in unity, in all we do, we seek to serve Christ with purpose and share God's love with all creation.
Our Mission: To love God,to make Jesus known,and to show His love through worship, education, nurture, and mission.
Worship is the central act bringing the people of God together. Each Sunday morning at 10:00 we gather as brothers and sisters in Christ to give glory to God: to fill our souls with the sustaining power and grace that come from Jesus Christ.
FPC Smyrna is a family, and we worship together in all stages of life. From infancy to adulthood, we are enriched when we gather to worship Christ. Children serve in many aspects within the service and all children are encouraged to be in worship.
Each week, worship centers on the Living Word of God that comes to us in Holy Scripture. Worship is thematic where all elements fit together to cohesively and attentively honor and praise the living God.
Services include varieties of music, from classical to contemporary, from piano and organ to guitar and drums. We recognize the gift of music in worship, and the ways each of us connect with the divine through the songs we sing, and the tunes which inspire us.
