More About Rein in Sarcoma

Rein in Sarcoma is dedicated to educating the public and medical community about sarcomas, supporting sarcoma patients and their loved ones, and funding research directed toward developing new treatments and finding a cure for sarcoma cancers.
Rein in Sarcoma (RIS) is a resource for families touched by sarcoma cancer, an uncommon and often lethal group of bone and soft tissue cancers that may strike children and younger adults, leaving an especially tender heartbreak. Working in partnership with the University of Minnesota, the Mayo Clinic and Children's Minnesota, we seek to fund innovative, collaborative and high-impact research. Our educational and patient support activities are both regional and national. Rein in Sarcoma is a Minnesota Non-Profit tax exempt 501(C)(3) organization.

RIS is the largest and best-known sarcoma foundation in the Midwest. While we provide support and resources to all, our primary service area includes: Minnesota, Iowa, North and South Dakota, and Wisconsin. Since 2001, with its three-pronged commitment to sarcoma research, patient support and education, the organization has reached thousands of people and raised over $2 million.

If you're uncertain about your event, please feel free to contact your local publisher to inquire about his or her policies prior to posting.

Remember too that we are a family friendly organization and reserve the right to reject any events that we deem inappropriate for our calendar or online media tools.
