More About 2024 Solar Eclipse Viewing Event at Mary S. Biesecker Public Library

Join us to celebrate this year's total solar eclipse! On Monday, April 8th, a total eclipse of the Sun will travel through Mexico, across the United States from Texas to Maine, and exit North America along Canada's Atlantic coast. This total eclipse will be visible on a wider track than in 2017.

As part of the Biesecker Public Library's weeklong celebration, we'll be hosting both a live viewing outside and a livestream inside of the Solar Eclipse at the library on April 8th, from 1 pm to 4 pm. This is in conjunction with our Eclipse Story Time on Wednesday, April 3rd at 10:30 am and Eclipse Crafts for Kids on Friday, April 5th at 4pm! We will have free glasses available starting on 4:00 pm April 5th while supplies last. We hope that you'll join us for this out of this world event!
