More About 2026 SBD WORLD’S STRONGEST MAN
25 of the world’s top strongmen will face off in an epic test of strength when the SBD World’s Strongest Man (WSM) returns to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina from April 23-26, 2026. Competitors will be pushed to their physical and mental limits throughout a series of events that will include the Truck Pull, Farmer’s Walk into Power Stairs, Titan’s Toss, the classic Atlas Stones and many more.

The quest for the title of World’s Strongest Man begins Thursday, April 23 and culminates on Sunday, April 26 when a champion is crowned. In partnership with Visit Myrtle Beach, the 49th edition of the SBD World’s Strongest Man offers general admission seating and four-days of action-packed competition around the main stage. The event will also feature a FREE fan area including food trucks, interactive booths and World Strongest Man competitor meet ‘n greets.
Athletes slated to compete include:
- Defending champion Rayno Nel (ZAF) who upset a field of veterans as a rookie at the 2025 World’s Strongest Man competition
- Three-time WSM champion and first athlete with autism to win the title Tom Stoltman (GBR)
- 2023 WSM champion and two-time finalist Mitchell Hooper (CAN)
- Former WWE wrestler third place finisher in 2024 Evan “T-Rex" Singleton (USA)
- Two-time Australia’s Strongest Man winner and Australia’s Got Talent finalist Eddie Williams (AUS)
