    - Pat Conroy’s classic novel stings with honesty and resounds with drama. Spanning forty years, it’s the story of turbulent Tom Wingo, his gifted and troubled twin sister, Savannah, and their struggle to triumph over the dark and tragic legacy of the extraordinary family into which they were born. Filled with the vanishing beauty of the South Carolina Low Country as well as the dusty glitter of New York City, The Prince of Tides showcases an American original at his very best.

  • | 6:00pm - 7:00pm | Library Events, Minecraft, Family, Games
    - Minecraft, with more than 16 million copies sold to date, is an open world game where players gather resources and build structures while battling monsters. But it’s more than just a game. Minecraft allows players to build, imagine, and create in a three-dimensional environment. While normal games control your play-style and experiences, Minecraft solicits more thought-provoking skills like problem-solving, creativity, imagination, and exploration.

  • | 6:00pm - 7:00pm | Library Events, Legos, Family
    - Playing with Legos develops problem solving and mathematical thinking. Following instructions to assemble Lego also has a lot of benefits for children’s problem solving, focus and attention to detail. Ideas of symmetry, balance, shapes and sizes are explored during play with Lego. Children experience working with fractions when they observe how many small pieces can fit into a large piece and can begin to experiment with division.

    - Fix these words of mine in your hearts and minds; tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Teach them to your children, talking about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Write them on the door frames of your houses and on your gates. Deuteronomy 11:18-20

Classes for all ages! If you are not involved in a Sunday school class, I really encourage you to find one that you can grow in. Studying God’s Word is never a mistake. Don’t worry if you don’t know the answers, there are teacher’s guides to guide you, curricula to use. Don’t worry if you don’t know how to pronounce every name and place. I’ll give you a hint, the others in your group won’t know the difference.

Will you be there next Sunday?

We should not stop gathering together with other believers, as some of you are doing. Instead, we must continue to encourage each other even more as we see the day of the Lord coming. Hebrews 10:25
