Jhair Sala Quartet

Rhythm you feel long before the night is over. Peruvian-born percussionist, Jhair Sala, brings the vibrant rhythms of Afro-Peruvian and Afro-Cuban music to the Brvsh stage.

Known for his work with the Pedrito Martinez Group, Sala combines precision, rhythmic imagination and an irresistible sense of groove.

Raised in New Jersey, Sala began playing cajón as a child and went on to study extensively with Pedrito Martinez, developing his voice across congas, bongos, timbales and batá. His career has taken him to international stages and into collaborations with artists including Edmar Castañeda, Xiomara Laugart and Jimmy Bosch.

Experience his percussion artistry up close in our intimate Teaneck venue. Bring good company, settle in for dinner and cocktails, and let the rhythm take care of the evening.
