Our pets are part of our family and with advances in medicine we strive to enhance the quality of medicine that we practice, providing education in prevention of disease, allowing for earlier detection of disease, and exbounding on the treatment options for your companion pets.

We have continually met the certification requirements of the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) in excellent standards and quality care. We are also members of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), the Illinois State Veterinary Medical Association (ISVMA), the Chicago Veterinary Medical Association (CVMA), and the Lake County Veterinary Medical Association (LCVMA). Lindenhurst Animal Hospital has been proudly serving the comanion animals of the Northern Lake County Community since 1975.

From the Vet...
I wish to welcome all of you to the Lindenhurst Animal Hospital’s healthcare website. As the Director of Lindenhurst Animal Hospital, I would like to take a moment to tell you a little about our facilities, services and veterinarians.

Our building is approximately 6400 square feet and while many of you have only visited our spacious reception and examination areas, your pet(s) may have gotten to spend time in our grooming, boarding, radiology, treatment, and even perhaps surgery and hospitalization/intensive care areas.

The veterinarians serving your pet’s needs include Dr. Rodney Unger, Dr. Heather Janssen, and myself. This informational website will be provided to you as a way for you to receive information that will impact both you and your pet(s). It may contain information about seasonal cautions or tell you about problems to watch for as your pet reaches the “Golden Years” of life. Some articles may not even pertain to your current situation and some readers may not have pets, but feel free to pass these materials along to someone you know that may benefit from the information.

Our vision is to strengthen the bond between you and your animal companion(s) through education, compassion, and excellent service. To that end, our Puppy/Kitten Programs provide you with one on one technical support to help you and your new friend get off to a great start. Our Senior Care Program gives you additional support and materials you need to stay informed about signs to watch for at home to help keep your companion in excellent physical condition. Wellness Examinations and Diagnostic Screenings are provided to help prevent or bring under control early disease processes before clinical signs begin at home.

I would like to thank you for your time and encourage you to call or send in questions or concerns that you may have regarding you and your pet(s) bond and wellbeing.

Dr. Pamela Preston, Veterinarian/Director

Why not consider a coupon or a promotional event? If you just need to keep yourself in the public eye you might want to think about placing an eye-catching full-color ad. You can choose your medium: the website, the mobile app, the weekly newsletter, our popular wall calendar, or any combination of the four.

Did you know that independent studies by the Verafast Corporation repeatedly show that at least 70% of all homeowners who receive our calendar keep and use it all year long? That's a phenomenal retention rate and makes sure that your business or organization is truly being put On Display Every Day.

If you're uncertain about your event, please feel free to contact your local publisher to inquire about his or her policies prior to posting.

Remember too that we are a family friendly organization and reserve the right to reject any events that we deem inappropriate for our calendar or online media tools.
