DAY 1

Upon arrival in Washington D.C, you will have the early afternoon to enjoy a one-of-a-kind Holiday happening at the Downtown Holiday Market. Bringing a unique and festive shopping "village" to the heart of Downtown DC, the market features more than 150 regional artisans, crafters, and boutique businesses of ethnically produced goods. Shop around hundreds of diverse gift items, such as jewelry, pottery, paintings, and textiles will be offered by 60 exhibitors each day. Remember that the exhibitors rotate and the selections of items will vary daily - so you can expect to find a gift for everyone! While you are shopping, enjoy lively seasonal entertainment, plus great snacks, and festive treats. Please enjoy lunch on your own in the Penn Quarter restaurants or in the café inside the National Portrait Gallery. Following shopping and lunch, you will board the motorcoach and depart for your hotel. DAY 2

Enjoy breakfast included this morning at your own leisure, along with time on your own at your own expense to explore the resort a bit more, before checkout time approaches. You will also have time to enjoy lunch on your own, at your own expense, in the National Harbor. Following the morning on your own, you will depart for the United States Botanic Garden, a living plant museum. Exhibits interpret the role of plants in supporting Earth's diverse and fragile ecosystems and in enriching human life. Established by Congress in 1820, the U.S. Botanic Garden is one of the oldest botanic gardens in North America. Enjoy the opportunity to see the holiday display of "Season's Greetings," which will feature model trains in the gated outdoor gardens, festive highlights throughout the Garden, and the Conservatory will feature poinsettias, holiday décor, and D.C. landmarks from plants. Following the conclusion of your time at the Botanic Gardens, you will depart for home.
