Welcome Spring through intuitive movement to release stagnancy and create spaciousness! Explore freedom and embodiment as guided by the 5 elements in nature utilizing free movement, breath and meditation, and reflection.
DANCING the 5 ELEMENTS™ is a healing movement modality and conscious dance practice that allows women to explore freedom and embodiment. In this practice we allow ourselves to be guided by the 5 Elements in nature utilizing free movement, breath and meditation, and reflection.
Facilitator Joy Herbst guides you in exploring free movement using the wisdom of the 5 Elements as they exist in all of nature;
the groundedness of Earth,
the of movement Air,
the heat of Fire,
the flow of Water,
and the healing love of Spirit,
… which forms our basic cellular make up and we see through massive expansion in the scale of the macrocosm of the Universe. Through this practice we move into our deeper intuition and connection through Divine embodiment of sacred movement, presence, and breath.
Women with a desire to move and be moved by their inner guides are welcome! This practice is suitable and open to any and all levels of ability, no dance experience is required.
Please bring a journal, your water bottle, and dress in layers for your comfort.
