More About Strawberry Festival - Fort Mill
Strawberry Festival fires up as one of the Palmetto State's most fun and memorable weekends!
This fun event takes place Friday and Saturday, May 1–2, 2026 at Walter Elisha Park, bringing two full days of activity, food, and entertainment to town.
Things get going Friday from 5 PM to 10 PM, then continue Saturday from 10 AM to 10 PM.
Opening night includes a Welcome Ceremony at 6:30 PM on the Amphitheater Stage featuring the Fort Mill Town Council, Strawberry Queens, and Berry the mascot.
Strawberries show up in just about everything, from shortcake and cannolis to fried strawberries, lemonade, and more, along with donut and ice cream eating contests. Kids can take part in the Strawberry Baby Contest dressed in themed outfits, while the Berry Fun Zone keeps families busy with music, bubbles, and games.
Both days feature live bands, plus carnival rides, food trucks, K9's in Flight dog shows, butterfly and bird exhibits, a tractor display, and a car show hosted by Dixieland Cruisers.
The weekend wraps up with fireworks at 9:45 PM Saturday, closing out a longtime Fort Mill tradition that draws a big crowd every year since 2010.
