More About Westport Garden Club Annual Plant Sale
Westport Garden Club members celebrate the club’s 100th Anniversary with their annual sale featuring over 1,000 homegrown perennial plants from members’ own gardens with a special section of CT Native Plants, tomatoes, and special peonies!
Shoppers will also find a selection of decorative container gardens, gifts for Mother’s Day, baked goods, herbs and tools
Club members on the field are available to offer advice on plant selection and each plant has a tag with care information. An information table with lists of native plants and details about Westport’s Pollinator Pathway Project will be staffed by knowledgeable members. There will be a children’s activity table staffed by Earthplace with nature-inspired activities and The Westport Library Book Store will offer a variety of garden-related books.
Proceeds from the sale support the club’s civic projects including the maintenance of local public gardens, educational programming, and grants to environmental non-profit organizations among other projects. The sale is held rain or shine. Cash and credit cards are accepted.
