Watch Canelo vs Mbilli at El Salto! (Schererville only)

Thank you to all El Salto's loyal patrons throughout the years. We appreciate your continued business and acknowledge that we couldn’t be voted number one in the region without you!

The Mendoza family opened up the very first El Salto Mexican Restaurant in Valparaiso Indiana. El Salto was created to serve customers fresh, authentic Mexican cuisine in a cultured, festive and inviting atmosphere. Since then, brothers; Robert and Rosendo Mendoza have opened four more El Salto locations including Cedar Lake, Munster, Merrillville, and Schererville, Indiana.

El Salto is notoriously known for their amazing margaritas and weekly margarita specials. Their dishes are always served with the finest ingredients and quality service. We invite you to come to visit us at one of our five great locations to taste the difference, where it's always a fiesta!

We will continue to always provide superior service, the freshest, finest authentic Mexican food, mouthwatering margaritas and a pleasant and entertaining ambiance that will entice you to come back for more!
