More About The Ridgewood Run
Experience The Ridgewood Run®, a high-energy celebration of running, community, and fun set in the charming, tree-lined Village of Ridgewood. This beloved annual event brings together competitive and recreational runners, families, and spectators from across the region for an unforgettable day of running and community connection.
Choose your challenge with a 10K, 5K, The Ridgewood Run Memorial Mile, or Kids’ Fun Run — there’s something for every age, pace, and goal.
Participants enjoy a fast, flat, USATF-certified course, premium race swag, personalized bibs, and a festive finish-line celebration featuring a lively beer garden and kids’ activities.
Founded in 1976 by Ridgewood residents Fred D’Elia and his wife, Toshi — a world-class, record-breaking pioneer in women’s running — the race is proudly produced by North Jersey Masters Running Club, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) dedicated to promoting running and fitness for all.
Push rim wheelchair athletes are encouraged to participate. Please contact the race organizers with any accommodation questions.
