More About National Take A Hike Day

Have you ever thought of hiking as a way to improve your mental health and physical well-being? If so, you're not alone. The popularity of hiking as a form of exercise has soared in the past decade and it's easy to see why. Hiking offers so much benefit it's hard to believe we've not been doing it for thousands of years. Here we'll look at the benefits of hiking as one form of exercise and as a way to relieve stress.

National Take a Hike Day was established by the American Hiking Society with the hope of encouraging individuals, groups of families, and friends to benefit from this great pastime.
