More About Zoopolis 500
This unique Zoo event and race-fan favorite includes a morning of family-friendly pre-race festivities leading up to the “Greatest Spectacle in Tortoise Racing.” Meet 500 Festival Princesses and snap photos with a 500 Festival pace car and the giant milk jug. Then, follow the tortoise and dairy fun facts back toward the Arena for the pre-race festivities. The American Dairy Association Indiana will be handing out free Dean’s TruMoo chocolate milk (while supplies last).
Make sure to arrive early to meet a snake at the Snake Pit. Pre-race commentary will begin at 11:15am leading up to the parade lap at 11:30am. When the green flag drops, cheer on the tortoises as they race up, down and around the track toward a tray of delicious fruits and veggies!
