More About Sylvia's Breakfast

To honor Sylvia’s story and illuminate the impact of our work, we invite you to join us at the 3rd annual Sylvia’s Breakfast on April 30, 2024. Hosted by the esteemed First Ladies of Boone County, the event will commence at 8:30am and conclude at 10am.

Sylvia’s story is at the heart of our mission, serving as a poignant reminder of the urgency and importance of our work. Named in honor of Sylvia Likens, a young girl who tragically fell victim to severe abuse, our center stands as a beacon of hope and healing for the children of Boone County.

This gathering provides a unique opportunity to delve into the heart of our mission by highlighting Sylvia’s Story. We will engage in a thoughtful discussion about our future goals, with a keynote address delivered by Toby Stark. Toby will be discussing the importance of child advocacy centers and further ways that you can support your local center.
