    - Join us on Saturday, April 29 for the Kids Run4Hunger (previously the Lionhearted Kids Run) as part of the Oshkosh Marathon weekend of events! This is a fun run event for children ages 3 to 10 years old. 100% of the proceeds from this event support the Oshkosh Area Community Pantry and its’ Food4Kids Programs.

    Kids can help fight hunger in our area by joining in this fun running event! All kids who register will receive a cotton race shirt, goody bag, refreshments at the finish line, and a finisher’s medal that glows in the dark! Run with team mascots and run in the fight against hunger!

    Distances designed for each age level:
    3-6 years old: 500 feet
    7-8 years old: 1/2 mile
    9-10 years old: 1 mile

    Event details and schedule
    Race day Registration and Packet Pick-up: Saturday, April 29th (day of the races) from 7:30-8:15 a.m.
    The first race kicks off at 8:30 a.m.
    All races will happen in the Leach Amphitheatre, 303 Ceape Avenue, Oshkosh.

Note: Minnesota permit applications must be submitted in person to a Minnesota county sheriff and cannot be mailed in.

It was created in 1952 by a joint resolution of the United States Congress, and signed into law by President Harry S. Truman. Our Task Force is a privately funded organization whose purpose is to encourage participation on the National Day of Prayer. It exists to communicate with every individual the need for personal repentance and prayer, to create appropriate materials, and to mobilize the Christian community to intercede for America’s leaders and its families. The Task Force represents a Judeo-Christian expression of the national observance, based on our understanding that this country was birthed in prayer and in reverence for the God of the Bible.

    - This workshop will explore the Chakra energy system. The word Chakra is Sanskrit for “wheel”. It is traditionally believed there are 7 energy “wheels” or vortex’s located along the spine of the body. Each Chakra is associated with particular physical, emotional or spiritual functions within the body. We will cover the basic characteristics of each chakra and the yoga postures designed to strengthen and open each center. This workshop will include a 45 minute yoga practice, meditation and small group discussion.
