More About Serial Killer: The Exhibition Extends Its Atlanta Run Through May 31 Amid Record Attendance
Due to overwhelming demand and continued strong attendance, Serial Killer: The Exhibition will extend its Atlanta engagement at Pullman Yards through May 31.
The extension allows visitors more time to experience one of the most comprehensive and in-depth exhibitions of its kind, featuring more than 2,000 original artifacts connected to serial killers from around the world. It is one of the largest private collections of authentic objects ever assembled. The collection reflects more than 15 years of research and collaboration with more than 100 collectors.
Tickets for the extended run are now available at feverup.com. Advance purchase is recommended.
The exhibition has drawn strong interest from younger audiences, with the majority of visitors ages 18 to 35 and approximately 70% identifying as female, a notable trend for this type of content. Engagement has also exceeded expectations, with visitors spending an average of more than three hours exploring the exhibition, far surpassing the initially projected 90-minute experience.
The exhibition has also attracted interest from professionals in law enforcement and investigative fields, further underscoring its scientific credibility and depth.
An unusual but noteworthy aspect of the visitor experience has been the physical reactions reported during the exhibition: more than 20 fainting incidents have occurred, primarily among younger male visitors. These cases appear to be isolated and likely linked to the emotional intensity of certain narratives presented through original artifacts. In no instance was medical intervention required. With the support of on-site staff, visitors recovered quickly, with some continuing their visit, while others chose to exit.
In response to this rare but understandable phenomenon in a museum setting, the organization has reinforced staff presence throughout the exhibition.
The exhibition’s goal is not to shock or sensationalize, but to inform and provide tools for understanding. Through authentic objects and often lesser-known stories, the experience invites visitors to reflect on the phenomenon of serial crime, its underlying dynamics and its broader cultural and social implications.
This sustained engagement reflects both the depth of the content and the immersive nature of the experience. Visitors frequently highlight the scale of the exhibition, the volume of artifacts and the level of analysis, expressing high levels of satisfaction with its scientific, educational and informative approach.
The exhibition explores a wide range of themes, from criminological research and forensic science to cultural analysis and the memory of victims, offering multiple layers of interpretation and encouraging repeat visits.
Visitors have shown particular interest in key sections, including one dedicated to American serial killers, featuring artifacts linked to figures such as John Wayne Gacy, Jeffrey Dahmer and Ted Bundy. The forensic science section has also proven to be a major point of engagement, offering insights into investigative methods and the evolution of criminal profiling. The capital punishment section has left a particularly strong impression, with the electric chair standing out as one of the most memorable elements of the exhibition.
Among the most viewed artifacts are Jeffrey Dahmer’s original glasses, as well as the typewriter and television used by John Wayne Gacy during his incarceration, alongside numerous archival materials.
Through a combination of authentic objects, historical documents, psychological profiling and immersive environments, the exhibition explores the evolution of serial crime, analyzes behavioral patterns and challenges common perceptions shaped by media narratives. The experience also includes a commemorative section dedicated to victims, bringing attention back to the human stories behind each case.
Following its extended run in Atlanta, the exhibition will continue its U.S. tour with its next stop scheduled for Chicago.
For press inquiries, interviews, and further information, members of the scientific and editorial committee are available upon request, subject to coordination with the press office.
