Volunteers Needed for 7th Annual Crystal Lake Half Marathon & 12K

The Crystal Lake Half Marathon & 12K is just around the corner, and organizers are calling on the community for a little help behind the scenes.

The 7th Annual Crystal Lake Half Marathon & 12K will take place on Sunday, September 6, 2026, bringing runners and spectators together for a morning of fitness, fun and community spirit.

Organizers are currently looking for volunteers to fill several important race-day roles, including:

Course Marshals – Help guide runners along the course and provide encouragement and direction at key locations.

Water Stops – Help keep runners hydrated and motivated throughout the race.

Packet Pickup & Registration – Assist runners with registration and packet pickup before the race.

Setup & Teardown – Help prepare the race area before participants arrive and clean up afterward.

Whether you've volunteered at a race before or this would be your first time, there is an opportunity to get involved. Volunteers play an important role in creating a safe, welcoming and enjoyable experience for everyone participating.
