More About Classics In Concert: Eight Decades of American Composers.

Join the North Myrtle Beach Community Band for a performance of concert band selections at our next concert: Classics In Concert: Eight Decades of American Composers.

The concert will take place in the Myrtle Beach High School Auditorium on Friday, March 1st at 7:00pm. As the title of the performance suggests, the program will include pieces from great American Composers through the last 8 decades!

Selections to include:
– 2nd American Folk Rhapsody by Clare Grundman
– Joy Revisited by Frank Ticheli
– Kaddish by W. Francis McBeth
– Ringgold Rhapsody by Henry Gass (Guest Conductor: Jim Seidel)

In addition, the band will honor the memory of our co-director, Mr. Thomas Smicklas, with a performance of “Afterlife” by Rossano Galante.

Admission is FREE and doors will open to the audience at 6:40pm. Donations after the concert are greatly appreciated in support of our community group.
