We’re hosting a party to celebrate Earth Day. Join the Akron Zoo and local conservation organizations for fun, conservation-themed activities, crafts and games!

Do Your Part!
Bring a bag of cans to the zoo to be donated to Cans for Corridors! As a special thank you, you will be given a ticket for a FREE* carousel ride!
*Free carousel ticket is only good for the day of the event (4/18/26)
We'll also be hosting an e-waste drive with Gadgets for Gibbons! Bring in your unused electronics to be wiped clean and responsibly recycled. A portion of each device you recycle will go towards gibbon conservation!
Conservation Conversations will be held throughout the park from 12 - 3 p.m.
General admission rates apply for this event, and it is FREE for Akron Zoo members.
