Whether you’ve never fired a rifle before or you’re already a competitive shooter, no one who comes to a Project Appleseed event ever leaves the same.

The new skills, history, and friendships are inspiring and life-changing.

Project Appleseed Clinics are a perfect family activity. Participants at the last event ranged from age 8 to 80!

Appleseed Rifleman Clinics teach the rifle marksmanship skills once commonly practiced in America.
Instructors put in nearly 200 hours of training so they can teach the skills that will one day allow a Rifleman to be accurate out to 500 yards. This distance is known as the traditional “Rifleman’s Quarter Mile” and has been part of America’s marksmanship repertoire since our country’s earliest days.

During breaks, the true stories of the earliest days of our nation are told, including the detailed events of April 19, 1775. You may be surprised by what you hear.

Appleseed instructors take pride in two critical things...safety and hands-on instruction.

When you come to an Appleseed Clinic:

1) you will come away with a significant improvement in your shooting ability, regardless of your current skill level.

2) you will come away with a deeper appreciation for our shared American heritage,

3) you will see our safety protocols and actions are second to none.

Since 2006, Appleseed has had more than 120,000 participants and over 3.5 million rounds safely downrange.
