With brilliant musicianship and authentic costumes and gear, Abbey Road plays beloved songs spanning the Beatles' career. They engage in a musical “showdown” of the hits against premier Stones tribute band Satisfaction – The International Rolling Stones Show, who offer a faithful rendition of the music and style of Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and the bad boys of the British Invasion.

    The nationally touring show performed a three month residency at the Harrah’s Reno showroom and a two month residency at the Harrah’s Laughlin showroom.

A dragon has been spotted in the hills above the castle, and her father, the King, has been giving the kingdom’s gold to a wizard who claims he can keep the dragon away. Penny suspects something fishy. Will Penny get to the bottom of the mystery? Is there really a dragon? Find out in “Tale of the Dragon’s Tail” by Puppet Art Theater Company!     - On April 10, 2009 five American soldiers were killed in combat in Mosul, Iraq. SFC Bryan E. Hall, of Elk Grove, is one of those soldiers whose heroic actions saved the lives of his fellow soldiers and Iraq civilians. This walk honors SFC Hall and the other four soldiers killed in the confrontation and all American Soldiers, past and present, who serve our country. All proceeds from the walk will be split between the Bryan E. Hall Memorial Scholarship Fund and an education fund established for SFC Hall's daughter, Addison.

    Please bring your family and join us on Saturday, April 8, 2017 for a patriotic 5K (3.1 miles) walk in Elk Grove Park. Check-in begins at 9:00 a.m. - refreshments will be served. The opening ceremony begins at 10:00 a.m. and concludes with a delicious lunch

    Pre-registration: $25.00 per person; $75.00 groups of four to six; $150 groups of 10.
    Walk-in registration: $30 per person; $85 for groups of four to six; $175 groups of 10.

    The Sacramento Beer and Chili Festival is a fundraiser for The Sacramento Artists Council and raises money for art programs that assist at-risk children, children of homeless families and fund adopt a school art programs for Sacramento regional schools.

Join the Elk Grove movement toward healthier living at this one-day fitness challenge and competition taking place in front of City Hall in Elk Grove. Teams of 2 (male division or female division) will compete to determine who’s fit to take home the title. Open to men and women, novice and advanced teams. Anyone over 18 can participate.

    - This fun-filled family weekend features egg hunts, prizes, spring-themed hands-on activities and visits with Peter Cottontail. Daily egg hunts are held promptly at 12, 1 and 2 p.m. Hunt areas are separated by age group: 0 - 3 years, 4 - 6 years, and 7 - 12 years. Puppet Art Theater Company will perform “Bunny Bootcamp” in the Children's Theater at 12:30, 1:30 and 2:30 p.m. Theater tickets are $2 for nonmembers and $1 for members.     Join us in the park from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm for free activities including appearances from the Easter Bunny and lots of springtime interactive FUN! Activities with a fee include egg hunts, face painting, pony rides, petting zoo, inflatable attractions and carnival games. Food will be available for purchase.

    NO REGISTRATION NECESSARY. TICKETS FOR ACTIVITIES WILL BE SOLD AT THE EVENT.
