The Immaculate Baking Company, based in Flat Rock, North Carolina, holds the Guinness World Record for the largest cookie ever baked. The colossal cookie, weighing in at a massive 40,000 pounds (18144 kg) and 102 feet in width was made in May 2003. It 8 months of planning and building the Big Oven to carry forward the feat! 🍪

The cookie was accepted into the Guinness Book of World Records as the largest ever baked. After the record-setting event, the cookie was cut into pieces and sold to raise money for a museum for the Folk Artist’s Foundation (FAF). The world's biggest cookie is a sweet reminder that even something as simple as baking can be used to make a difference in the world.
