More About ARTivism: Your Art is Powerful (with Educational Director Darcy Hicks)
Learning how to put creative energy into the things that worry you is healing and effective – and will give you the power to educate others and make some good changes! Students will learn that artists throughout history (such as Diego Rivera) as well as contemporary artists like Banksy and Marina Debris chose topics that directly affected them or those they cared about. Final projects will be displayed at The Norwalk Art Space with a formal opening reception on December 15, 2022. Free and open to ages 11-14. Registration is required through our website: Click for Details (If the class is full, please email info@thenorwalkartspace.org to be added to the waitlist)
