More About WINTER KIDS WORKSHOP: REGISTRATION OPEN FOR THEATER BARN

Following up on their joyful Fall kids’ production of Nickelodeon’s SpongeBob SquarePants,The Musical, the Ridgefield Theater Barn is now offering two winter workshops starting November 30th. These workshops, geared toward kids in grades four through twelve, are non-audition based, inclusive to all, and offer a fun, nurturing environment where kids with an interest in acting, singing, or musical theater, can be themselves.

Due to the generous support of Arts for Everyone, financial aid and scholarships are available to any student.

The youth musical, Paintin’ the Fence, based on Mark Twain’s famous Tom Sawyer adventures, is a delightful one-act musical for grades four through six. Bursting with thrills and upbeat musical numbers such as “Catchin’ Catfish,” “Lessons,” and the show-stoppin’ “Paintin’ the Fence,” the classic show sparkles with Twain’s timeless wit and humor.

For grades six to twelve the Barn is offering a Teen workshop focused on comedy scenes and features hilarious comic skits about the anxieties of being a teen.

Both the youth and teen workshops will conclude with performances for friends and family in January.
