More About A Night at the Museum

Enjoy a delightful night under the big tent as we celebrate this season's newest Museum exhibits: It Would be a Wonder: The Story of Wonder Lake, Wired! Electrifying Rural McHenry County & the final 10 artifacts from our 60 Years, 60 Objects exhibit in the Anderson Gallery.

Take in the exhibits, then enjoy refreshing beverages from our craft brewery sponsors, live music, tasty food trucks, and treats. Catch up with old friends or meet new ones! This event is open to the public! There is no fee to attend the event or enter the museum. Food and craft beer beverages are available for purchase. No pets, please.

More About McHenry County Historical Society & Museum

Since 1963 the McHenry County Historical Society has strived to engage and educate current and future generations about their county's history. Please join us in celebrating more than 50 years! Besides operating the museum, the Society plaques historic sites and structures, hosts workshops and classes, makes available satellite exhibits and arranges various school and other group programs.
