W.E. Chalk Festival is Back and Bringing a HUGE Pop of Color to St. Louis Park

WHAT: W.E. Chalk Festival
Join us for the 2nd Annual W.E. Chalk Festival in St. Louis Park. This two-day celebration will feature one-of-a-kind creations from 15-20 local and national chalk artists. We’re talking some of the most well-known artists from around the country, including 2D and 3D chalk masters. Canvas Convergence, a 3D immersive arts experience gallery hosts W.E. Chalk Festival along with major sponsors: Westopolis, City of St. Louis Park Arts and Culture Grant, and The Shops at West End.
Art is just the start at W.E. Chalk Festival. Make sure to enjoy all of the other offerings, including:

W.E. Chalk Festival is founded by Shawn McCann, a well-known local chalk artist who loves to explore the relationship of art, space, and interaction. Shawn’s work includes street painting, murals, fine art, children’s books, installation art, temporary and permanent art and commercial illustration. He has been featured at numerous street painting festivals throughout the U.S. and his work has won numerous awards, been a NEA grant recipient and is held in private and public collections. Shawn was also the featured illustrator twice at the LA Times Festival of Books. Shawn was one of the few
American artists chosen to participate in the Dubai Canvas, one of the most prestigious street art festivals in the world, and currently organizes 6 street art festivals throughout the Midwest. In November of 2023 Shawn founded Canvas Convergence, an Arts Immersive 3D gallery in The Shops at West End.
