More About FRENCH CHORAL MASTERWORKS
The Market Square Presbyterian Church Sanctuary Choir, under the direction of Tyler Canonico-Dilley, presents two great masterworks of French choral music, Requiem, Op. 9 (1947) by Maurice Duruflé and Messe Solennelle in C-sharp minor, Op. 16 (1899) by Louis Vierne.
They will be accompanied by internationally-known French Canadian concert organist Dr. Isabelle Demers. She earned a doctoral degree at the Juilliard School and was recently appointed Associate Professor of Organ at McGill University (Montréal, Québec).
Canonico-Dilley is Minister of Music at Market Square Church and adjunct professor of music at Lebanon Valley College, where he also directs the College Choir.
A donation of $15 in support of the Arts on the Square series of musical performances and visual arts exhibitions is suggested.
Complimentary parking is provided in the adjacent Market Square Garage. Enter the church from Level One of the garage or from the Event Entrance at the iron gates on Second Street. Please be prepared to provide your vehicle's license plate number to the parking attendant inside the church to access the free parking. The church is fully accessible to all.
