More About Have a Ball Weekend: Ball Machine Farewell at Children's Museum of Atlanta
Children's Museum of Atlanta is inviting families to Have a Ball Weekend on Saturday, Aug. 1 and Sunday, Aug. 2, to send off the iconic Ball Machine before it's retired. A fixture since the Museum's current location opened in 2003, the Ball Machine will take its final spins as part of the Museum's $2.5 million Lilly Endowment-supported initiative to reimagine its interactive experiences. Guests can enjoy 10% off admission using code HAVEABALL, free doughnut holes at the Snack Stop while supplies last, and a ball from the exhibit to take home. After Aug. 2, the space closes for construction, with the pop-up experience Outside the Box opening before Labor Day and a reimagined Ball Machine returning in 2027.
