More About SHENK SCHOLARSHIP STUDENT ORGAN RECITAL
Students from the 2026 class of fledgling organists will perform (many for the first time in public) after their summer of free lessons given by professional organists of the Harrisburg Chapter of the American Guild of Organists.
Come and support them and applaud them for their efforts on the 2025 Marshall & Ogletree Opus 19 digital organ of 175 ranks--the first of its type in the Harrisburg region. Followed by refreshments.
The Harrisburg Chapter was recently awarded a gold American Guild of Organists' Chapter Achievement Award (one of six in the U.S. and Europe) for its excellence and focus on the education of students and adults.
The people of St. Stephen’s Cathedral are hosting this event.
