Piedmont Park: Light Up the Season

Presented by the Piedmont Park Conservancy, Light Up the Season invites the community to celebrate the holidays with an evening of light, music and festive fun in Piedmont Park. Guests can create their own lantern, enjoy live DJ entertainment and seasonal fare before joining the Holiday Lantern Parade led by the Seed & Feed band. Carry your handmade lantern through the Park alongside family and friends as music and hundreds of lights illuminate the parade route. The event will end in the Meadow with a brief ceremony to light the Park’s Great Tree, Menorah and Kinara. Guests can continue the celebration at a post-event gathering hosted at Park Tavern featuring a family holiday movie and snacks. Food, festive beverages and cocktails will be available for purchase throughout the evening. This event is free and open to the public.
