More About Michael Blackson
He has been called one of the most original stand-up comics in the country, and his performances have audiences laughing in tears. Michael Blackson, aka: ‘The African King of Comedy’, has been entertaining audiences all across the country and around the globe for more than a decade. Inspired by Eddie Murphy, he began his comedy career in 1992 and gained fame through BET’s ComicView, HBO’s Def Comedy Jam, and his role in Next Friday. Known for his unique style and vibrant Dashikis, Blackson continues to perform live at comedy clubs, universities, and events worldwide.
