More About The CT Symphonic Winds Celebrate the 250th Anniversary of these United States in Music

The Connecticut Symphonic Winds, 70-piece ensemble will perform a celebration in music for the Nation’s 250th Anniversary, Saturday, May16th at 7:30, at the Roger Ludlowe Middle School Theatre, 689 Unquowa Road, Fairfield.

The program highlights include: Four Dances from West Side Story, Shenandoah, As All the Heavens Were a Bell, Hymn to the Fallen from Saving Private Ryan and Aaron Copland’s Lincoln Portrait, with Gary Scarpa as guest narrator.

The ensemble will also perform the duet, Under Western Skies with Joseph Spitzer and Thomas Zoubek on trumpets.
