More About Spring Gala 2024
The Best of Classics performed by Minnesota Ballet Theatre & School, celebrating the Twenty-fourth year of Classical Ballet training. Recital pieces will perform original dance choreography for younger students as well as classical variations at advanced levels from World-known ballets.
Following highlights from the ballet “Sleeping Beauty” is one of the great performances, like Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty, and Nutcracker. This delightful ballet is known worldwide for its choreography by M. Petipa and music by Pyotr Ilyich TchaikovskyIt originally premiered in 1898 at the Imperial Mariinsky Theatre in St Petersburg, Russia. Colorful costumes, inventive choreography, and ageless music combine to make a memorable experience for theatergoers of all ages.
